Bio / Abstract
The Eastern Mediterranean Conference & Exhibition (EMC) is a premier regional energy event that brings together operators, service companies, policymakers, researchers, and technology providers to exchange knowledge and discuss developments across the entire energy value chain. Covering topics such as oil and gas, renewable energy, digitalization, and future fuels, EMC provides a strategic platform for collaboration and dialogue on energy transition, security, and regional cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The SPE University of Nicosia Student Chapter participated in EMC 2025 with the objective of actively engaging with industry professionals, gaining exposure to current and emerging energy technologies, and contributing to the exhibition through a 100% student-built and student-operated booth. The booth showcased the chapter’s technical events, outreach initiatives, and podcast interviews, while also featuring industry props and donated equipment used for educational demonstrations. Through exhibiting and networking, the chapter strengthened relationships with industry stakeholders, promoted student involvement in the energy sector, and reinforced its role in bridging academia and industry within the regional energy ecosystem.
